Big Blogmas Project Day 9 : Busy and tired!

So I've been quiet for a few day's and I've missed some of the Big Blogmas project! Keeping up with Christmas order's, 2 blogs and various market/craft stalls and open studio days is pretty hard, but I'm trying my best :) 

I decided to open my studio up to the public on Saturday so people could come and have a look around browse some piece, make orders and generally just have a chat.

Friday was spent prepping and cleaning with my lovely friend Amber (I did the prepping, she did the cleaning, thanks Amber!) Here is the end result!

I'll be doing more of these in future, and I also have a stall this Saturday at the Thorne craft market, so if you have any last minute Christmas gifts to buy, come along and say hello!

Big Blogmas Project Day 5 : A Little Disney Magic

A few day's ago we received a really lovely review from the people at My Student Style about out Disney inspired jewellery so we thought we would share the collection on here with you fellow blogger's.

Basically the idea for this collection came to me as I was watching Beauty and the beast with Evie on a Sunday afternoon. The collection features bracelets and necklace's with tiny little character charm's and a little bottle with a quote from the Disney film in. These are available in a gold or silver colour, and can be customise with any character or quote! Necklaces are £9.00 and Bracelets are £6.50

Big Blogmas Project Day 3: Polka Dot Teapot Gift Guide

Hand's up if you have finished your Christmas shopping? Nope me neither. In fact I haven't even started, and I probably won't until the last week of December, whoops!

Big Blogmas Project Day 2: Cleaning up!

So today was spent cleaning up my studio after the mad rush of the thorne Christmas market stall on Friday!

Pretty please don't judge me for the mess! When I'm getting ready for a stall, I tend to chuck things everywhere and forget about until next time (then regret not tidying sooner!) Also with doing so much sewing, the floor is constantly covered in thread etc, as are my clothes!

Big Blog Xmas Project Day 1: Can't believe it's December already!

I know it's been very quiet over here, but we've been so busy over at www.facebook.com/polkadotteapotdesigns !

However now we are taking part in the Big Blog Xmas Project! So we will be updating daily throughout December on everything we get up to.

Basically, the Big Blog Xmas project is a challenge to blog every single day throughout December and is the brain child of Nicole from  coleoftheballl33.blogspot.co.uk who was contacted by a charity to help spread the word about charities who help people, who are alone, ill, hungry etc over Christmas time. On Christmas day we will post a link to all these helplines.

Thorne Craft Market 28/9/2013

I know it's been so long since the last update! But we've been super busy with lots and lots of new products which will be added to the blog very soon!

For now though, we did our first craft market this Saturday in my hometown of Thorne. It was really busy and lovely to see the market place in full swing again. Big thanks to Chez Moi for taking the time to organize the event and doing such a fantastic job.
